A good number of AR-ers attended this weekend’s flat water proficiency test at Emmarentia Dam on Saturday afternoon.
AR Club and Tshwane AR Club have been encouraging adventure racers to do their flat water proficiency test – ultimately you are responsible for your safety on water. The flate water test does not have an expiry date; and the next step is the river proficiency test, which means a trip down the Klip (for Gauties).
Thanks to Bill van der Walt (paddle coach and safety officer) for being so accommodating to our adventure racing crowd.
