Main Features

  • Insulated with Thermo-Shield
  • Elastic (Amplify) stitching to minimize heat loss
  • Oversized hooded cowl
  • Incredibly small pack size

The sleeping bag is designed to keep you warm and comfortable whilst maximising insulation and heat retention.

The elasticised stitching around the leg area reduces air pockets and moves with your body for added comfort. The excellent weight and small packing size adds immense value to this sleeping bag. It has a comfort temperature rating of 7°C and an Extreme Temperature Rating of -7°C which is perfect for most moderate seasonal variations.

The Amplify 900 is a synthetic based sleeping bag. In the event of it getting wet, it still has the ability to retain heat, unlike a down equivalent. The oversized hooded cowl also is a very useful feature.

The sleeping bag was tested in open air conditions on a wooden surface with a standard inflatable mattress. The outside temperature dropped to -2°C and the standard base layer was worn whilst in the sleeping bag. The combination worked perfectly for a comfortable sleep. The additional peace of mind was certainly the -7°C Extreme Temperature Rating. The Amplify 900 Sleeping bag is highly recommended and is an essential item on any adventure gear list.
