Join us on the evening of Wednesday, 26 March at Kinetic for an evening of expedition adventure racing.
In December last year Graham ‘Tweet’ Bird competed with Team Merrell Adventure Addicts at the AR World Champs in Costa Rica. They placed 5th in a highly competitive field. He has just returned from racing at GODZone in New Zealand where he raced in a Merrell team that included Merrell athletes from different countries. Although they became unofficial when an injured teammate withdrew, the team continued. They even picked up a fourth teammate later in the race.
If any racer knows about expedition adventure racing, it’s Tweet. He has bushels of experience from racing locally and at many events internationally – with superb results.
Come along and listen to some of Tweet’s recent racing experiences; pick up tips that will improve your racing and mingle with fellow adventure racers. Tweet will introduce various topics relevant to expedition racing with stories from his experiences. He’ll then gladly answer your questions before moving on to the next theme.
Stephan Muller will also be on hand to give you tips to aid your preparation for Expedition Africa in late May.
And for those who want to hang around for a bit, Tweet has a 44min video from the AR World Champs in Costa Rica which will play after stories and Q&A.
