Teams Merrell Adventure Addicts and Cyanosis – Marquest International finished the XPD Adventure Racing World Championships (ARWC) in Tasmania just after 3am SA time today. They finished a very credible 7th and 8th respectively against some of best teams in the world! The two teams battled it out to the very end with Merrell just managing to pip Cyanosis to the finish line. They both sat in the finishers lounge together enjoying well earned pizza and champagne.
Nikki Smit, Hanno’s wife (Merrell), spoke to Hanno just as they finished. “He sounded amazingly chipper for just having completed nearly 800km nonstop! I am sure that we will all hear of their epic adventures upon their return!” she says.
