Expedition Africa starts at 07h00
Expedition Africa starts on Monday at 07h00. Reports are that the wind has been howling although temperatures are warm. Organiser Heidi Muller says they’ll decide at 05h00 whether the sea paddle will take place as the swell is up and conditions on the water are unpleasant.
Merrell get outside in Hermanus
Monday sees the start of South Africa’s first expedition-length adventure race for almost three years. 21 teams from across the country and one international team, from the United Kingdom, will descend on the picturesque Western Cape coastal town of Hermanus for the non-stop, 500km race, Expedition Africa.
