We tried to get the team together for a ‘Swazi Sport’ reunion, but Amy was out with a knee injury so she helped out with marshalling and Steve was on vacation in Croatia… So Andrew (Wigs) employed Laura Herd, who’s currently training for the Southern Storm, to join us, and I managed to source the navigation expertise of Jeremy Green to guide us.

The eagerly anticipated second edition of the Kinetic Full Moon Adventure race took place this weekend. With the weather warming up after a long winter, the hibernation period was over for the Red Ants as they joined a swarm of colourful adventurers to race under the moonlight.

Because all fairy tales have a villain and everything turns out to be a little apt… But more about this in due course- this tale is just beginning! It was a tale with many players, from the king (sometimes good, sometimes bad, but we’ll call him Darron) and his lovely Queen Anita, to knights in shining armour (we’ll call them seconds and marshalls), to jesters (known in other circles as cartographers), to sages (these’ll be the locals) and lastly the minions (who could this be other than the teams?).
