Less than 500nm to row

Solo, trans-Atlantic ocean rower Peter van Kets now has less than 500nm to row to Antigua. Tough weather conditions and a competitive solo rival, Charlie Pitcher, meant that Pete lost out on winning the solo category and setting a solo record. He’s in contention for second.

Defeated by contaminated water (yes, still infectious after treatment and filtration!) and severe drought in the Karoo, Ray has spent the last three weeks revising his plans. He is now five days into ‘Take Two’.
